I have Atom Exec and HTC Touch Dual
The differences between these 2 are :
HTC Touch Dual(128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM) - with 3G/Keypad, no WIFI/FM Radio, WM6
Atom Exec (64 MB RAM, 192 MB ROM) - with WIFI/FM Radio and no 3G/Keypad, WM5
If you need WIFI very often, choose ATom Exec instead of HTC Touch Dual or HTC Touch.
Please note that :
- HTC Touch Dual is different from HTC Touch.
- HTC Touch Dual is much cheaper than O2 Atom Exec.
- HTC Touch Dual Camera is better than O2 Atom Exec.
- Both phone provide Chinese software.
- Both support A2DP
- If you go for this phone because of TouchFlo, actually you can try a software call Touch Commander, it works on most PDA phone without TouchFlo.

In my Atom Exec, the option of turning on speaker phone is grayed out.
I can not turn on the speaker during the call. Is there any fix for this? Also i can not assign MP3 file as ringtone. Is this a limitation of this particular phone model?
Is there a WM 6 upgrade available for Atom Exec? I believe it has good processor speed to support WM 6.

Hi all,
I am experience trouble when I turn on speaker phone on my O2 XDA Atom Exec. When the speaker phone is turned on during a call, the person on the other end cannot hear my voice clearly. I can hear their voice clearly, but on the other side, they cannot hear the voice clearly. They hear some sound like Trrrr... something similar to what happens when mobile is close to a magnetic speaker. I made sure that there is no speaker or any other magnatic field around me, but still, the person on the other side cannot hear my voice clearly.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Can someone please tell me how to solve this problem?

To dude - then post here the site where you got your WM6 ROM to make our lives easier rather than to advise us to google it and we will find where it is, right? Thank you.

lies? i had wm6 installed on my wm6. well, the truth is its not officially available at o2's website. but there's a community web who took wm6 from from htc universal and recooked it so it can runs on atom and atom exec.
google for it, sure you'll find it.
come on dude, how long you've been living under the hood? before start to talk, make sure you know what you're saying.

I think those person who has said here that they upgraded their O2 Atom Exec from WM5 to WM6 is purely lies & imagination. If you go to O2 Atom site, nothing mentioned there that WM6 ROM for O2 Atom Exec is available. WM6 ROM is available only for Atom Zinc, Atom Life. So, guys don't believe that WM6 ROM for Atom Exec is available.

Hi, I am a busy executive on moove, I want to buy a phone which has Camera, SMS, Stereo blue tooth, Music so that i can carry one handset against two Nokia & Sony erricson. is this handset the right choice for me.

Um...why O2 atom exec can use 256k colour even windows mobile can't support more than 65k colour...um..what'z da meaning of effective 65k colour...?

O2 didn't released any upgrade of this unit to WM6 but everybody can get and install the cooked WM6 ROM.

So far my set is in good shape. The only thing is that hands free mode doesnt work well. the other party cannot hear as well.
i have a question - how to you create a short cut to sms? There's only Phone and Contacts shown on Today but how to change Contacts to SMS?

The GPS at Atom Exec is doesn't work...so I have to buy another device for gps receiver...??????
