I have an O2 Xda IIs model. I bought as a 2nd hand phone just last year. All its peripheral, manual, and box are still around and with an original Windows Mobile 2003 version in it.
Its Windows was so good, but since Microsoft discontinued with the device, Windows applications for it were also discontinued.
Upgrading it to Windows Mobile 6.1 made my device so powerful and very effective. I abused connecting to the internet via WIFI, and connecting to other devices and transferring files via bluetooth, installed a lot of applications in it, and so far, my device never broke down. I even watch Youtube with it.
I have used several handphones before but never handled a dinosaur era phone to be as competitive as the latest models. Actually, from my personal experience, it seems it even exceeds many of the newer versions of Windows Mobile Phones out there right now. It's like the old version Terminator still able to compete with the newest Terminator models in the movies!
Average New models of Windows mobile Phones out there has a CPU speed ranging from 350 to 800 Mhz. Guess what, this dinosaur has 400 Mhz engine!
If someone is selling you one like it at a very low price, I'd suggest you take it and upgrade it to the tested Windows Mobile OS 6.1.
A lot of applications are available for free out there in the internet for it.
Want to upgrade it to Windows 6.1? go to http://pinoytopdownloads.blogspot.com/2008/10/o2-xda-iis-or-htc-blueangel-upgrades.html

I got this phone when it was new back in the day. My unit died on me when I didn't change the motherboard w/in the warranty period (coz getting it after the warranty period was way too expensive). Anyway, the unit was very easy to use, its processor was speedy enough to crunch through multiple programs running simultaneously. Its great at organizing your schedule and the phonebook is pretty complete. Its a Pocket PC unit so anybody using one of these ancient devices would still find it very useful. Its only downside was its lack of WIFI, w/c is a must-have for today's PDA phones. Its plastic frame also didn't hold up well against the corrosion of being held in hand too often. In its time, this was THE phone to get. If you have one that still works, it should be put to use :-)
