One very big draw back: No voice dialing... Combine that with the trickiness/awkwardness of trying to find a number in the contacts list AND the fact you aren't actually pushing any buttons... = VERY VERY big draw back - esp. when you are on the road alot. have to pull over or wait until red lights to find a number, and even then its difficult without the stylus. i ditched my O2 mini for a N73 (not only for that reason, but that was one - battery was another)

i just wanna laugh once i read your comment, dont you realise this is a PDA, secondly dont you know that you cant use a hp/pda while you`re driving? thanks god you`re not in Malaysia.
secondly regards the contacts, you can simply press the contacts shortcut then press up/down to choose the no you want to call. Lastly just press the call button. Its simple like ABC.

The XDAii Mini though its a very good phone that O2 has made, the handset also being much more comapct than the XDAIIs and the other old models of the XDA series, however the worst part is it is not 3G enabled and does not have EDGE compatibility so though its a high end PDA phone but this would really go against the phone and a lot many people like me would be dissappointed with the fact that in the near future in the 3G network we would not be able to use such a handset as it would not be compatible also miss the EDGE feature as the GPRS would be working slower and ineffectively then......

"plssss anyone tell me hw can I attach my o2 mini with pc and operate internet on my pc.hw cn I find large files from my device"
to answer this... to attach your O2 mini to your PC and work with first install the CD(Included in the PAckage when you buy your O2 mini) to your PC while doing this connect your O2 Mini USB Cable to your PC, your PC should have Activesync... follow instruction. then only then you can connect your O2 mini using built-in modem to Internet through your PC. the rest are in the manual... read it!

O2 mini is good But their service centre is not ready to take its responsibilty.According to them it can catch moisture from atmosphere also and can stop working. And they are not responsible for that. According to them HP is better

This is a great pda phone overall. I love it. But there are some major drawbacks : (1) battery life is too short for this power hungry device. (2) the camera really sucks. (3) the font size for text messages is way too small, and there is no option for selecting font size (anyone who knows how...kindly advice....appreciate that, thanks.

HI,I am now using o2 xda mini and now I have a big problem. the windows mobile system can not start. the last time when i was using it, it appears that the Memory of the system was occupied a lot and I did not have too much data
and did not installed any extra programs.
Now I can not even start the system. If you have any idea with this problem, please contact me with zeyangxia(at)gmail.com.
thanks a lot

lol, its funny when someone complain about the camera, this is 2002 PDA. In other hand it mean they use 2002/2003 technology. And its already 1.3Mp camera.
I hate the gprs/infrared.. damn slow... if you cant believe it try to beam file (size more than 1mb).
