First, a few suggestions to some of the queries posted recently:
1. English Manual: there is link on this page for O2 XDA II Mini called "Manual" (on the left). It's a PDF format file, and the size is around 8.1MB, so one will need a decent Internet speed to download the file.
2. English Operating System: I'm not quite sure if a "Hard Reset" will do the job. When I first bought it from the phone shop, the vendor put in the SIM card and battery then switched it on. I think the vendor first selected "English" from the language option then the system installed default software accordingly. Check with your vendor to make sure. The box and the manual in it is in German, but it was possible to choose an English operating system at the first installation.
Now, my query! I added a storage card (4GB) and changed the camera and video storage settings to the new storage card. I created "My Documents" folder and "My Pictures" sub-folder on the new memory card. But, when I take a picture the system still says "Not enough memory". Does anyone know why? Thanks

O2 Xda mini became my friend sooo faster.
It's really handy and constructive.
But it's really tough to install new software. There are hell lot of tremendous softwares which are not for Xda mini.

I upgraded the operating system og my xda II mini and lost everything. - just comes up with a dark screen with USB written on the screen or serial when unplugged from the PC. does anyone know how to recover or reset? I find the XDA O2 website useless and that's where I downloaded the operating system upgrade. So much for an expensive crap but no support.

I just got my very first PDA Phone (O2 Xda II Mini). I recharged it, and the battery meter showed 100% full. But, it went flat overnight so I had to recharge it in the morning. It seems one may have to recharge it continuously for at least 8 hours at the beginning, as suggested in the Quick Start Guide. Also, the phone becomes quite warm during the recharge. The manuals don't say anything about that, so I suppose it's OK.
It seems that lots of people also got the German-version software and driver CDs, even though the OS is in English. Can anyone out there share us the English version please? Thanks

Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery are not, I repeat, ARE NOT suppose to get hot throughout the charging period...
Li-ion is the most advance rechargeable battery type in the market and unlike Ni-cd (Nickle based batteries) Li-ions are not suppose to get any more than your body temperture in charging. Check with your local dealer or send for repairs immediately.
Also there is no need to charge 8 hrs non-stop for Li-ion battery for the fiest time. That only apply to Nickle based batteries too.
Check the internet on Battery or Rechargeable battery for more info.

Yes it is possible to access the internet via Wi-Fi with this device. Although Wi-Fi is not built-in you can purchase a Wi-Fi Card (SDIO WLAN Card), insert it to the card slot and Hola! That should do the trick. As for the price of WLAN SDIO it would be around PhP 5000
