Hi Everyone..
Wish you all a very Happy and prosperous New Year 2006....
There was lot of discussion in regards to changing the alarm ring tones. I have been successfull to change the same lately..
To change the alarm tone:
Copy a .wav file to the windows folder and then restsrt the phone. The ringtone appears in the list which can then be set.
I am however not able to set Mp3 as alarm tone..Any suggestions??

hmmm.. read so many problem/help posts...
Have a few questions to ask e experts here...
1) where is e service centre(in singapore) located at??
2) after e upgrade, is e camera up to 1.3mp standard after e upgrade??
3) is there a website to download all relevant softwares for e phone??
i juz got e phone second handed so needs to clear a lot of doubts.. thanks a lot:)

i have just started using my o2 iam fully satisfied with my pocket pc but the only drawback is camera calerity it does not give satisfaction factor

Yes, indeed u got to go to service centre to upgrade it. And its really works... it becomes great.. I used to be dissapointed with lot of grain photos.. but it become less a lot. Its great...
For the password, u could direct set in o2 without any software required.. when u din do anything with it between 3 mins it will autolock.. unless u playin MP3, it will not unlocked..
I dont find major prob in o2.. only minor prob, it sometimes auto restart when I used too many programs... but it SOMETIMES.. not often...

just go to file explorer, then go windows.. there is "rings".. copy ur mp3 into it.. and set as ur ringtone.. consider as DONE..

what do you mean 'upgrade d xda mini's camera'? as in do i get the software from a website or should i go to the o2 care centre 2 'upgrade the camera'? because i'm really annoyed by the bogus camera..n i would really appreci8 a fine upgraded camera..

I bought my XDA a week ago and have a problem.
I set my alarm for 06:00 and called it ''Working Day'' but now it goes off EVERYDAY even when I have the alarm switched off.
I changed the alarm to 08:00 but yet it still went off at 06:00.
I then did a master reset and it STILL goes off at 06:00!!
Can anyone help?

hello...jus bought my mini..... i still hav problems doing da mp3 as ringtone thing.... where actually is the windows/ring...sorry if it is a stupid ques but i really dont know.

Forget to ask about is there any software can lock the phone with password ??
will it too slow to run a programe or more than two programe at the same time ??? because i used to use SE 910i , it quite slow to perform some programe just as slow as hang .

actually, im considering to buy mini one ... but i heard so many users here complain this hp ... i knew that every hp has some problem one .... but i don hope to buy a hp with so many problem one lo ....
Is there a big different between the mini and Atom mini ??
can i contact u from the other way like MSN or Email ?
then we can have a discussion about the mini ...

I use this O2 for few months d... Well it can be shut off (I press 2 times for 2sec). FOR INFORMATION: O2 xda II mini camera need to be upgrade then it will be fine (it become good). Camera in day time is good and no prob at all. Not HANG always.. if u run programs, it will not close when u exit it. It will run into hidden background. U must turn it off from "running programs". The more programs u use, the more memory space it takes. please be noted that 64 mb is shared memory. I bought 1 GB memcard and dont have problems with it (yes, sometimes it reset the phone but not always). Media player support many type which I am too lazy to mention here. It supports and play 3gp as well.
I hope it helps u.. I love this phone so far.. it is great mobile.

i had read some of the user's opinions. i wanted to find out whether the answers that the users wrote are true or false .....
1. does the phone can not switch off by the red button ?
2. does the camera of mini really bad ?
3. what about the camera function in day time ??
4. does the phone hangs always ??
5. what kind of files can be support in window media player.

if u want ur phone to automatically shut off you can set the timer through settings/system/backlight. I have set mine on 10secs to save battery power.
Anyone else have the same problem as mine where icant access the keypad to dial a number?????

i got a SD 256MB + Wi-Fi. once i insert it into my O2 XDA II mini, it takes a long time to scan for network and my phone is freeze. Can some one help me to solve this problem in order for me to go wireless

I have just bought mini for 3 days. I also can't it shutdown. Pressing off button for 2s or more will just turn off the backlight. Can somebody help?

I bought my xda mini a weeka go and after around a day i cant access my keypad on screen to dial a telephone no. it just seems to crash and all i hear is a click. Once i reset the phone i can then access the keypad (bu keypad i mean 1-9 numbers to dial a no). Please feel free to email me if anybody has the same problems or even if u dont on sana23@coolgoose.com

How to shutdown? Press the off button for 2secs or more and it will shut down automatically.. =)

please someone let me know how to shut down this MINI O2.
The technical staff od O2 says we cant. But i think that simply impossible. A microsoft product and cant shut down is something weird.
