Hi all,
XDA II Mini does support mp3 ringtones but not automatically available when you wanna set it up in the setting. What you can do is, copy your mp3s that you want to be the ringtones, and paste it in Windows/Rings directory. Then you can set your ringtone in the setting menu. Happy enjoying your mini.

Hi,
Jz would add some info..for those who alwaz hd their mini's hang..can try to get the following softwares..like memmaid or pocket mechanic..it function as defragment and other cool features..enjoy using O2!!!

I am thinking of buying o2xdaii mini.I want to know that this phone supports mp3 ringtones or not? And is it possible to upgrade software to windows mobile 5.0 or not. Kindly reply as soon as possible i am waiting for u guys before buying.....

If u after for friendly use, I dont think this phone is that you looking for, but for office use, yes this phone is good...depend on what you after...

pls help me out i want to buy O2 phone the xda ll mini i want to know weather its`a useser friendly phone and also is it good for office use and does it have windows xp and also weather is a hardy phone... pls reply

VEry bad signal with this phone and hang most of the time, big regrets i bought this phone.
But for office use, this phone is quite good.

Is it possible to update the Windows Mobile 2003 Edition to Windows Mobile 5.0, I have the update but I am a bit skeptical as to wether to use it or not. Also whats the latest rom version, mine is 1.11.00 WWE, The date is 14th MARCH 2005. sO GUYS PLEASE TELL IF AND UPDATE IS WORTH RISKING.

just get whichever you like better.. they pretty much the same both phone.. same features i think
oh yea.. does any1 know how to set up the modem for the o2 mini so it can connect to wireless network?

Thanks Pit. I live in asia too.. in India to be exact. Are you talking of the same O2 atom as I am because that one has built in wi-fi, stereo speakers, and is smaller than the mini. can you highlight me on this coz if its available, i would like to pick one up myself. I am totally crazy about the phone.

bishu, i got my XDA from ebay
you should be able to search for it on the site but note that this type of XDA is solf mainly in asia only
so if you buy it from ebay, you most likely to get the seller's warranty.
its the same as normal o2 mini i guess..but i've personally haf never play around with the standard one, so i dont know..
its been good for me i guess..

anybody know where can i get a o2 mini wireless card??? and how much it usually cost??? my university offers students free wireless internet access, does it mean that if i bought the wireless card, then i can go on the internet for free??? if so, how fast is it??? please reply a.s.a.p. urgent!! thx~~

i recently bought the atom version of the o2 mini.. one of the feature that i dont really like is the bluetooth function.
i cant send anything bigger than 3Mb, and sending a file as large as 3Mb would take about 7-9 minutes.
is this normal thing that happens to all of you guys XDA or is there somethin wrong with my XDA?

Hi John, there is a good add-on software w/c u can download from seeO2.com called O2 plus. This gives you a lot of options - divert and notification profiles, memory saver, task and application shortcuts.. This is really very very good.
Concerning ur camera experience, there are some tools u can change depending on the scene and lighting u have. When u open the camera function there is a "wrench tool" icon. I suggest u do some experiments and see what combination suits ur eyes. I would however say that the mini doe not have a good camera but better than none.

i buy o2 xda2 mini,but inside all germany languages,i do not know how to change it to english languages. so i fell unsuitable suppose automatic internasinal languages

Yeessss ...Finally i got what i was wating for...O2 mini is one in a million,Its got all specifications for a pocket pc...***** ...Its compact and looks more smart than other pocket pcs as well as its performance and stabilty ....hey guys whats u waitin for go for a bulls eye...my next target is o2 executive black.....sounds gr8 isnt it??
