One thing I don't understand about Windows Mobile is why have they excluded so many windows configuration tools ?. I understand they might want 3rd parties to develop software but this just means we have to pay hard earned money for potentially buggy software on the internet when we ought to already have the basic tools having paid alot of money for the phone. That is my only quarm about Pocket PCs.

    This is my first PDA phone and I have to say buying this particular one is the best decision I made.

    The main CON is it's VERY bad quality camera but I did not buy phone for taking photos so it does not bother me.

    ProS include excellent capacity and functionality to synchronise email and everything else MS Office based. Flexible OS to install alot of useful tools. The bosses at my company all put down their corprate Blackbeeries and switched to the O2 since it can do everything the Blackberry can and alot more.

    The phone is a bit pricey but I think it's price/function factor is very low and is worth the investment if you look after it and take advantage of the tools and gismos out there.

    I would rate it 8/10 and if I could turn the clock back, yes, I would still buy it.

      Hi,

      I am a regular user of O2 mini from last 5 months, though kool its has both pros & cons.Camera is bad and also it hangs often. But its worth the buy still. I find it very addictive.
      Can any one tell how to get the outer body changed as its got scrated over the time and wanna get it changed.
      Accessroies like ear kit not available separately here in India still as I lost mine. Trying to get one, ANy Help ???

        hi,
        I am a Gadget freak from India and Frankly speaking very much confused between O2 Xda II mini, I-mate JAM and Sony-Ericsson P910i. Can please anyone help me with this... and one more thing i am a big music lover so please suggest me sumthing which gives the best Mp3 output.

          hi guy,
          i have a question what is the different between O2 xda II mini, i-mate jam, and Qtek s100???? all of those look the same for me and they are differnt in the price. can any body tell me why???

            Aft many mths of contemplation,I finali m the proud owner of a O2 Mini.Waited for the right promo.My main HP is the P910i whc I hv been using since last Oct.M a HP freak!So far,m hapi wif my Mini.Heard feedback abt its hanging prob but aft reading thru many reviews,I believe it cld b due 2 ignorance.

              hi everyone

              i havve just bought the xda 2 mini and am very happy. but i havve encountered one problem . i had downloaded videos and other stuff like mp3 songs and wall papers from a friends laptop and it all went through without any hiccups. bbut when i tried doing it from another friends computer it isnt connectinng. can anyone tell me why is this happening ??????? i have already installed active sync in that computer bbut when i connect it it says user authenticated and disconnects by itself. pls someone help me ????????

                Hi guneet!

                I would suggest you buy SonyEricsson P910i.
                I have some friends who are not very satisfied with XDAII Mini. I've tried the phone myself and i noticed that its always freezing and a bit confusing. turning off the power is very frustrating too.
                Ive read a lot of reviews and comments about this phone and only few are happy with it, majority are disappointed.
                Plus, you cant send text message or do some other things using one hand (especially IF you're driving). At least with P910i, it has a keypad on its own.

                I would suggest to go to a mobile phone store and give it a hands-on both 02 mini and SonyEricsson or a try for yourself. In that way, you can check which one will suit you.

                but my suggestion is SonyEricsson P910i (this is just my suggestion, we all have different needs when it comes to phone).

                  hi guys, i'm planning to buy one o2 mini but am a bit confused. o2 mini or sony 910i or communicator. i am a gadget freak, my phone usage is very high and handling quite poor. is the 02 mini too fragile or is decently easy to handle, i love its features but am a bit confused over handling and usage. which phone should i go for? please help

                    I have short listed O2 after 3 months of regress hunt. The piece is full of power in terms of Processing, Features, Display and Extensibility. Windows OS is the boon for this machine as there are n no. of software (Freeware, Shareware etc.) available on net. I am using O2 for since April 2005 and I am quite satisfied.

                      I've just got my set too. The power switch is turn off but the phone indicator still blinking. And when I tried to call my line, the phone set is ringing. Anyone know how to really power off the set as I need to remove the battery. Thanks.

                        Is this phone capable of sending files tru bluetooth? its usless if it has a bluetooth make use of it.. if it is, what s/are the procedure/s?

                            its a perfect PDA phone with a limited phone features as compared with the major popular phones. Answers of your questions are found in the manual included with it. so pls scan it. XDA II mini, again, is actually a PDA phone designed for use in offices, hospitals and some formal businesses. So pls don't expect much from it.
