May i know how many steps does it take to make a new message and send it using one hand. Without using the stylus. I'm planning to get an xda mini.. I can't decide bet. The xda mini or the treo 650

Stupid question, but for some reason its jsut important to me...does the phone vibrate, both when on silent and not on silent?

can anyone tell me how I increase the number of rings on my phone. It only rings 3 times and I am still delving in my handbag when it switches to answerphone. I have tried going into settings/more/and changing the number but nothing happens. Thanks

I’ve downloaded a game or two that are suppose to be compatible with the pocket PC phones. Neither of them would work. I even tried the free game that is advertised on the O2 connect and it wouldn’t work either. What am I doing wrong?

Hi there, i bought XDZ MINI phone and i wonder how to set the ring tone using Mp3 songs that i have downloaded, also the sms alert , can it be changed to a mp3 song too? I WOULD BE GREAT FUL IF ANYBODY REPLIES TO ME WITH THE SOLUTION

Size very fit to my hand, perfect PDA for me, but i need help, my mini keep on ask me to charge the backup battery, and the backup battery some time show 25% and suddenly change to 50% or 100%
why ??? who can advise me Thnaks

This is the worst phone that I have ever used. IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL USERS: the device automatically saves all SMS received or sent onto the device, rather than the SIM. The user cannot change this. So if by any reason a soft or hard reset is doen ALL SMS data will be lost. There is no way to back this data up via any of the methods available for backup on the device itself. Technical Support from O2 have advised that only 3rd party software maybe able to retrieve lost SMS data but there are no guarantees. Also, important to note is that warranties on the device may be null and void if installing third pary softwares. Lastly for those that are avid user of the Speakerphone function on a phone, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!..you will not be able to use it except in a library as the both parties are not able to hear each other clearly without screaming from the top of their lungs.

OK once and for all.All these phones are made by a secretive firm called HTC in Taiwan (High Tech Computer Corp)http://www.htc.com.tw
Their makers named them 'Wallaby', 'Himalaya' and 'Blue Angel', but almost nobody knows them by those names. The mobile provider O2 sells them under the brand-name 'XDA'. They're also known as Qtek, MDA, imate etc.So thats why are almost the same phones and some are exactly the same phones.But I don't know why these phones are not protected from international copyright law.But anyway this is another matter.I have post the same text to imate and Qtek section

Just want to inquire bout the camera of the xda mini. How come if you take the picture of something with a dark background indoor, it appears to have the with and blue dots? It's like dandruff all over the picture. What i know about digital cameras are that once shot with low light condition, it' will be blur but never will it have such white and blue dots. Is the unit defective? have you experienced such? Please comment on this, thanks.

just bought o2 mini.i m having some problems with it.
1)sometimes my bluetooth icon disappears from the screen.even if i soft reset it then also it does not appears.
2)when i close windows media player it always closes the program behind it.its like double click on the close button.
3)tell me how 2 change the reminder tones.
4)camera clarity is not so good.it shows dotted pictures.
5)when my message sending is going on & an
incomin call comes then i cant pick up the phone.it takes a lot of time at that time & sometimes it comes unable to answer the call.

Guess you didn't install the drivers properly. If you have installed it, you should be able to see the wifi card under SETTINGS,CONNECTION. Apart from that, there will also be a Wifi application under PROGRAM.
If you cannot see those, you'll need to reinstall it again. This happened to mine as well. Initially when I install it, I couldn't find the drivers nor the application. Once I reinstalled it again, it works fine.
Mine is not the PRETEC card, but it WAS a SPECTEC wifi card. Gotta buy another one again as I just lost mine after using it for 3 weeks :-(
