well i got the mini few days ago.
quite ok.
camera sucks.
recently there's a lot of question on how to turn off the phone.
well i'm playing with it
to turn off completely (fully off, including hp) just turn on Flight Mode then just press power switch one click. Easy
Turn On Back just click power switch then switch off FLIGHT Mode.
if u wanna half off then press and hold for a while power switch. u'll c the phone is still visible without backlight only.

how to change the size of the mms send? i tried to send a video mms to my sister and it shows. pls change size, now is 100k?? go where to change? pls help thanks.

Hi,
I got a O2 from a friend in Singapore. It uses version 4.20.1018 (build 13100). It uses PXA263 processor and has 126MB RAM.
I am having a lot of problems with this device. I am using it in the US and using T-OBILE. The SIM card is recognized and I am able to make calls. But I have the follwing problems:
1. From time to time the device shows that it is not out of range, but when making calls the device just hangs. It needs a hard reset to wake up.
2. Both hard and soft reset require multiple resets. After a reset, the device just hangs (either white screen or the blue screen with O2 written but no response). It wakes up after manay many resets.
3. ActiveSync problem - I have winsows XP on my computer and have installed the ActiveSync provided in the CD. The device is recognized when connected through USB. However, important stuff like calander, contacts etc are never being SYNC.
Can some one help please?

Hi people I just bought myself an O2 Mini amazing phone I must say ... just too good. But I still like to know some stuff abt it..
1. If i assign a photo to my contact and the photo lies in the SD card so will it display when the phone rings as it does not in the case of WMA personal ringtone.
2. I have a WMA file on my computer which I transferred to my phone's SD card but its sound level is not that great when I set it as a ringtone.
I would really appreciate your comments...

Had used my o2 mini for a few days.
Realised that alot of comments here are really useful.
However some points to carify:
1.Can MP3 be set as ringtones?
Yes. Go to "photo contacts" and assigned your mp3 ringtone individually.
2. Does o2 mini sound sucks?
I thought initially.cos when i try to open an mp3 using it spekers,even though i set the volume to 100%,it still soft.However i really that here is another volume control: the icon near to the time display at the top righthand corner of mini.
Give a try and see the difference in the sound.
3. Does the battery sucks?
Well, i feel that it is quite long lasting.However for new battery u have to charge for min of 8hrs and then fully discharge for a few times.But when we are transfering info using USB, the mini is already charging by itself.This may led to weak battery in time to come.Thus,word of caution,fully discharge before you connect to USB for first time user.
4.Someone did find problems deleting files in memeroy card.
You may connect the mini to your comp and need to open the " my documents folders" for sycronization.Instead u should go to "my computer",click on the drive that only mini is using..click the first icon..think it "my pda" or something like that.go to storage card and delete the unwanted programs.

sorry to reply u so late. cos i've been busy with work lately. if u forgotten which page u ask me question, is pg 3.
i have no problem with my o2 mini. is actually how u use it. like some people says that they can'tmake phone call out and when someone calls in they can't hear them too, this problem is there bcos there is not enough internal memory, my friend also anyhow copy mp3 songs into the main memory which takes up all the internal 64mb memory, in this case, then yr phone will not have enough memory to do any applications.
as for the speaker phone, to me is ok for me. but i guess the ear pieces that comes with the phone is abit "outer space" it sound like outer space.. very airy.. other then that no problem.
as for the camera, if the place that u wanted to take pictures have poor lighting, then will result in alot of blue spots.. but once u get enough lightings then the problem will be gone.
but if u were to buy a o2 mini, i sugest that u get it from courts, or harvey norman ad extend the warrenty to at least 3yrs cos this kind of IT product, u need more then just 1yr warrenty cos the problem usually comes after 1yr.

Gosh,my pocket pc hard reset itself for no reason..normally,we need to hold the power button and press soft reset together in order to hard reset..BUt,my O2 mini juz hard reset itself..i gonna reinstall all my software gain..can anyone tell me y could tis happened..my friends also tell me that there are some new virus strike on pocket pc or phone model..will it be related??thanks..
