One UI 7 apps leak, screenshots and APKs shared online

We’ve been hearing a lot about One UI 7, but we’ve only caught glimpses of it – Samsung isn’t ready to reveal the next version of its UI that will run atop Android 15. However, X poster Gerwin van Giessen has the APKs for the updated One UI apps and has shared screenshots from them, as well as the actual APKs, if you want to take them for a spin.

One thing that we know about version 7 is that it will refresh the look with new icons and new UI elements. Here is the updated Calendar app, which has a new agenda widget. You can customize the look of the widgets by setting custom backgrounds and choosing different shapes.

The Voice Recorder app now shows more details in the list view of all your recordings. Here it is compared to how it looks on One UI 6.

The Calculator app hasn’t changed much – there are a few minor differences. There’s a new Reminder app too, but there’s only an image of its icon for now.

As mentioned, van Giessen has uploaded some of the new APKs to APKMirror. You can download and install them, but you will need to disable the Auto Blocker feature first. Here are the Reminder and the Voice Recorder apps.

If you’re wondering when you will receive these apps through the regular update channel, we’re wondering that too – the latest info (and we should stress that it is unofficial info) is that a beta version will be out in mid-December available. And that only for Galaxy S24 owners (in select countries). The stable version will almost certainly have to wait for 2025.

It's easier to see the difference between a million shades of white. I can't believe this 0.1% difference in UI elements "leaked". My God...are people really that bored? Are our lives really that empty?!

Will Samsung's new system font appear in WhatsApp, Instagram etc. or will it still default to Roboto?

"Apple has beautiful UI" - said the iPhone user to the Android user and nobody on either side cared about how wrong both sides were --- every online conversation that has ever existed where iOS and Android were mentioned
