I'm still using this phone in 2025. It has been one of the best devices I've ever used .I just received Oos 15 and it's the last update . I honestly have no want to upgrade to a new device so I'll use this one till it no longer works .

                    A marvellous phone.

I got it brand new for a very good price and put LineageOS on it straight away. (I got the phone because there was LineageOS for it in the first place. I wouldn't use any Big Brother OS)

                    Pros:

                    - Very fast. The reviews about the SD 8+ gen 1 are true.

                    - Doesn't overheat. (The reviews are true)

                    - A wonderful screen - and yay, it is flat! Finally a good phone with a flat screen. It looks normal, it is easier to use and you don't have to tremble at every movement that the protector is not good enough for the edges. Also, you can put glass or a normal foil on it. I could only use hydrogel foil on my previous phone with a curved screen because no glass covers a curved screen fully. And while the hydrogel foil covers the screen fully and seemlessly and has a very good quality of touch and tranaparence, it gets scratch marks very easily and you still have to be careful to not accidentally touch the screen with an edgy object. Yeah, I like perfection, slight scratch marks do bother me and they don't go away as advertised.

                    - Speaking about screen protectors, the phone came with a preinstalled screen protector of a very good quality. A huge thank you to Oneplus.

My previous phone was Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and I was expecting to lose some screen quality since the OP 10t has a PPI density below 400 and the Note 10+ is a flagship Samsung. However, the screen of the OP10t is very nice, smooth and the colors are vibrant and generally amazing. (Especially if you put them on "Cinematic" from the LineageOS settings. Dunno how it is on stock.
Also, the lower pixel density allows for a better battery life. And it doesn't really make the picture look grainy as I thought it would.
However, the screen doesn't get really bright outside. It is ok, no doubt about this but it's not as bright as the Samsung under direct sunlight. Anyway, it is a small compromise for me in exchange for everything else.

                    - This thing charges like crazy. I haven't tested it from 0% but I tested it from 36% battery and it got from 36% to 100% in 12 mins. Wow!

                    - Amazing battery life with LineageOS. I don't let my phones go below 40% but I get many hours of screen on time and the lower pixel density is also easy on the battery.

                    Cons:
                    - First and foremost - no SD card slot. Come on, some videos are 900 mb nowadays. Why the hell do manufacturers not provide a slot for an SD card??? I would never use a "cloud" service.
                    - The phone is not as big as I'd like it to be but it's acceptable. (I like big phones)
                    - The screen doesn't get too bright outside (but it's ok)
                    - The battery isn't removable (yeah, ok, I am just whining but still)

                    - The camera is alright. Being a long time custom ROM user, I am used to less than perfect camera quality so I cannot make a good review there. Freedom is more important to me than camera quality.

I am planning to keep this phone for a long time. The price of the phone was very good. I guess I'd put up with the cons.

upgradable to Android 14, OxygenOS 14 (International)

I am now a proud owner (again) of a OnePlus 10T.
May i ask what is the very latest Oxygen OS version?
Has there been any major/minor improvements to the cameras (photos & videos), battery life, general performance and UX lately?

No IP Rating, 26 Nov 2023No IP rating on the OP10T which for a phone this expensive ... moreThey both have the same camera sensors.

You can compare here on gsmarena and see for yourself. Nord has bigger and better display as well a a some kind of ip rating, while the 10T has faster charging. Can't really go wrong with either device.

May I know what's the very latest Oxygen OS version?
Has there been a any significant updates to the cameras and performance lately?
                                    Any noticeable bugs?
Any good Redmi Note or Poco devices as an alternative? Or none?
