OnePlus 12 starts receiving the Android 16 update

OnePlus has now started rolling out the stable update to OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 to the OnePlus 12. The rollout is starting with units purchased in India, and OnePlus promises it will reach more regions soon.

For Indian units, the new build is CPH2573_16.0.0.201(EX01). The changelog is endless, you can check it out in its entirety at the Source linked below.

As always, note that the update is going out in batches, so if you have a OnePlus 12 purchased from India and haven't received the notification yet, fret not for it is coming - it will most likely arrive in the next few days.

Nice joke , why would anybody downgrade from an iPne 24 pro to a crappy OP toy . I went the other way and couldn’t belthow polished and stable ir was compared to my OP.

Yeah feel the same. Got the update here in canada and battery is way worser. So better not to update and wait few months for real bugfixes. I assume its the animations that drain the battery so quick.
