The best smartphone on the planet right now. I have owned over 130 smartphones in my lifetime. I am a fan of smartphone technology and enjoy trying out devices then I sell them after I've lost interest. That won't happen to this device. I love this phone. I was a huge Apple fan, but that ship sailed 5 years ago. I'm a One Plus customer forever. Long live One Plus.

7 years of OS. But only on paper.
Satellite communication. But only SOS SMS and only to a specific operator in a very specific area. And only if the operator decides.
You don't have new lenses on the cameras, but you do have new plastic caps glued with superglue.
Complete happiness for you. Leave 1+ to us.

I will buy the Oneplus 14 next year if they do the following:

          1) Use upgraded camera lens
          2) Offer longer OS support ( at least 5 OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates )
          3) Support Satellite communication as other high-end phones do

Stop labeling regular telephotos as periscopes! the OnePlus 12 was the only model that used a periscope telephoto. The OnePlus 13 doesn't use a periscope! neither do the iPhone 15PM or 16Pros, Find N5, or Realme 13/14P+

Has anyone noticed a huge drop in sound quality after the last update(.405)? Before the update everything was fine but after, the sound seems muffled and at high volume you can hear distortions, especially when talking on the speaker.

For example, if you play a big game for a while then it is known to get warm (still cooler than SD 8 GEN 1 fabricated by Sam).
Perhaps, 1+ should optimize it more.

But I'm comparing it to my 1+10 Pro, which when I use it under the same conditions, I can actually feel it getting quite hot. The 1+13 feels 10 degrees cooler to the touch. But Sammy device has other issues such as bloatware and price.
And Sammy device is harder to unlock in case you can't handle the stock ROM.
I suppose people can pick whatever the device they like.

It's not a main issue, but it can be as there's a powerful desktop level chip inside even though efficiency is a lot better than samsung ones.

There is the same problem with the green line on the display. Also with a pink line, as well as with pink dead pixels. And the MURA effect as a bonus. However, the problem mainly occurs on Samsung displays. Thank God 1+ already uses BoE displays.

I had two OnePlus phone, 5T and 8Pro. With 5T, after less than 2 years, I had mic problem. Then I bought 8Pro, and after just 2 years, green line on the screen. That happened after I updated the software. I did changed the screen (display) and after 3 months, same again. Didnt wanted to change and used it for while until second line appeared and my eyes couldnt bear it anymore. So, last year I bought S24Ultra. Never going back to OnePlus, such a cheat company and no customer service.

What are the differences between India version and UK/EU/Global version? In where I live I got both versions and India version is slightly cheaper. Are there any differences in term of software/hardware?
