Voidrox, 18 Apr 2025No one uses a phone for 7 years. Still using my OnePlus 6T from 2018, so 7 years old. The USB port is loosening a bit and the camera sometimes crashes (just reset the phone, takes 10sec), but otherwise im still loving my 6T.
I was thinking in changing this year to the OP Open 2, ...
Then i thought, "I'll get the OP13", i've held one in hand and i could live with the larger size.
When the 13 mini was leaked i cried of joy. However, depending on price and if the 13T is global, i might get the 13T.
The other options, in my country, are Xiaomi 15, S25 and Pixel 9 Pro or change to iPhone 16 Pro.
Hate HyperOS, so the Xiaomi is out. S25 battery is only decent. Like the Pixel, but its too expensive for its performance.
The 16Pro seems like the final option, but its expensive and i dont really like the Apple ecosystem.
Might consider the Razr60 Ultra or the Fold 7 depending on reception.

I'd choose the Honor GT Pro if I were a hardcore gamer.
I think both smartphones really have the best value for money.

Or perhaps a 13 mini with the size of the 2022 SE but with a proper OS like android.

0809 vibration motor (worse than 0916)
IP65 only instead of IP68/69
Still uses short focal length optical fingerprint sensor instead of ultrasonic ones, which provides much better experience
still 18W PD only, remember to bring your own brick charger to get "full-fat charging experience" my dear OnePlus users
And USB 2.0 480Mbps? even my old Galaxy S22 and Xperia XZ1 does have USB3 5Gbps
All above with that stupidly rear camera bump, I'll go with S25 instead of this abomination
Well actually I'm a S25 Ultra owner finding a secondary phone.
