OnePlus 2 teaser video features fan who has actually seen it

Vlad, 10 July, 2015

OnePlus is revving up its teaser campaign for the device it's going to announce on July 27 in virtual reality. After having revealed some specs for the OnePlus 2 bit by bit over the past few weeks, we're now treated to a promo video.

Starring in it is a "OnePlus superfan" and forum moderator, who has actually seen, touched, and played with the OnePlus 2. He tells us what he likes about the phone, while using the word "awesome" way too many times.

Hopefully you weren't expecting to find out some hard details about the upcoming smartphone. This has to be the most bleep-filled teaser video ever to be created for a new handset.

While no new information about the OnePlus 2 has been outed this time around, we already know that it will sport Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 SoC, aided by 4GB of RAM. It's going to have a fingerprint scanner, a 3,300 mAh battery, and support for more 4G LTE bands than its predecessor. It will cost less than $450.

This reminds me of what HTC did for the M8 if I'm right, those videos with the normal guy and the scientist explaining why the new phone is better with tons of bleeps. They were pretty funny, really.
