mclaren 5G version is not available in all regions. In EU mclaren is only 4G and they don't sell 7T pro 5G here at all. Oneplus support told me 7T pro 5G only available in US, so I lost interest whatsoever. Don't know what is the reason for such ridiculous limitations.

I just have to make sure I get my finger lined up carefully and press firmly on the screen to get a good reading. Before the screen protector it was quite a bit more forgiving.

You'll need to purchase and install a glass screen protector that uses a cured resin (by UV light) to correct this issue. That's if you want a glass screen protector and working finger printer scanner. You maybe also use a magnetic aluminum bumper case with built in glass screen protector and back that will forego this problem. Or not use a screen protector at all since it is Gorilla Glass 6.
