OnePlus 8 series Indian launch delayed

Michail, 28 May 2020

OnePlus is still not ready to start the general sales of its 8-series phones in India. The company issued a statement in the official OnePlus forum which explains its production facilities were halted temporarily and this will lead to a delay in the start of the official sales. The new release schedule will be announced soon.

Although we were looking to have 29th May as our open sales date for the OnePlus 8 Series, due to unforeseen circumstances, our production was temporarily halted last week and has altered our sales plan. Because of this, we had to reschedule our date for open sales in India.

In the meantime, the company is ready to host a limited sales run of the OnePlus 8 which starts at 12PM on May 29. In addition, those who pre-ordered their OnePlus 8 series devices will be notified when their orders are ready to ship.
