OnePlus Ace 2 is launching on February 7 in China
OnePlus is having a big event on February 7 in New Delhi, India, where we expect to see the global versions of the OnePlus 11, and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. It will also be the landing stage for the first OnePlus Keyboard, OnePlus Pad tablet, new OnePlus TV Q2 Pro in several sizes, and the OnePlus 11R smartphone.
At a separate event in China, OnePlus is launching the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone, which will be the 11R version for the domestic market with minor software tweaks.
The OnePlus 11R and OnePlus Ace 2 have the same camera design on the back and display on the front. They are both confirmed to have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and the color of the official teaser matches previous images. Last year OnePlus 10R was sold as OnePlus Ace in China.
The phone with the model number PHK110 was already benchmarked at AnTuTu, reaching 1,149,494 with its Qualcomm chipset. The result is in line with the OnePlus 10T, which is also powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. We have to point out the result was achieved in Performance Mode, only smartphones with modes that artificially boost their hardware are capable of achieving over 1 million AnTuTu points with this SoC.
The major difference between the global smartphone and the Chinese one is the UI - OnePlus is bringing Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top for the Ace 2, while the 11R will run OxygenOS 13. The interface bears a different name, but over the years the two have come closer and closer to the point of having few major distinctions at this point.
