Hi guys! This or Redmi K80 Ultra? How will the longevity and reliability compare, it's for my mom. She's pretty old and not the most tech savvy! I want a good UI and something reliable. Decent capacity to take pictures/videos is a nice addition.

I can confirm with you that 5g works with YES5G and Maxis, 500mbps tops no issue.
I bought from Shopee not Fastech Lim. Lim is bit expensive (i think near 2k) because any warranty issue you can deal with him directly. If shopee, same but maybe slower service to claim. So far my unit got no defects.
To be honest I dont care about warranty, as I used many phones over the years and care for it. None of it broke unless you drop it often or water damage it. Nowadays phone got better quality.
If you encounter a shopee seller that puts the price for the phone below 1500, check the review, I put long review there.

Banking, Whatsapp, gmail. Not an issue. This is a great phone tbh.

I got my hands on this beast, fresh import from China via Shopee MY, below MYR1500.
At first I got to go through tons of bloatware removal as well as disabling this and that.
it does look and feels like a premium device, the vibration is superb, kinda like Iphone feel. Stereo speaker got some bass on it, which is totally great for music but not quite for video with speech.
5g for both SIM (NSA) works flawlessly on YES5G and Hotlink.
Only the cameras are somehow mediocre but that's fine, photos look the same nowadays.
