OnePlus ditches invites for the OnePlus 3

Vince, 01 June, 2016

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei disclosed that the OnePlus 3 will be released invite-free right from launch day. The company is going to soon announce the phone on June 14. He also reminded that the OnePlus 3 will be available for purchase exclusively through the Loop VR app during the first two hours after launch. After that, everyone will be able to order one.

The OnePlus 3’s specs we know so far include: 5.5-inch AMOLED 1080p screen, return of NFC support, Snapdragon 820 CPU paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of on-board storage, rear camera, a 3,000mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner.

We'll know all about the phone once it goes official in less than two weeks.
