PWM technology is an old tech in which display brightness was regulated by switching off and on the background brightness. Obviously this creates very high flicker and is considered bad for eyes, and may result in headache for those who're sensitive to it.
Today, a high PWM is favourable, but DC modulation is best.

PSA: There are (at least) 3 regional variants of the Nord 5, not 2 as reported here.
Europe which has no charger, no case and 5200mAh battery.
Global(?) which has no charger, no case, 6800mAh battery and identical network bands as the European variant. This is the one missing from the reports.
India which includes a charger, a case, has 6800mAh battery and different network bands compared to the other 2.
If you are in the EU, global version is your unicorn if you're willing to chase it (ordered and got mine from China).
Have contacted GSMA to correct this

I was wondering between this one and the Moto Edge 50 ultra. The big diference is the battery life, i think oneplus has the upper hand on this one.
Other than that let´s face it, it looks pretty boring device and no appeal whatsoever.
I take the Ultra and see how it goes

I bought this phone awhile ago. Accidently drop it. Like not so high. But next min the frame got big dents and scratches. The plastic frame is very weak. So fast dents in one small drop. Bought it in singapore at a price of $540.. phone specs and use wise all good. They should have stayed with metal frame.

240 pwm is something you can live with for 2-3 years if you want the other merits in your budget.
I'm 38 and I'm using phones since 18, we never got a decent PWM ever but our eyes survived that too without spectacles. But, I totally agree with you that higher PWM is a diserable...
I guess to each his own preferences. That's what makes us an open market...
