OnePlus Nord N300

2 years have gone by since the launch of the Redmi 10X 5G and OnePlus has made what is essentially a more expensive, but inferior copy of it.
-It's 15% more expensive
-It's got the Dimensity 810 while the 10X had the 820.
-It's got a horrible 720p LCD when the 10X had a 1080p AMOLED.
-It's a plastic piece of garbage when the 10X had a glass back.
-It's got 2-4 gigs less RAM and the same or 4x less storage depending on the model. (honestly, 4 gigs of RAM in 2022?!?!)
-It's got basically the same camera setup, but it's missing the dang ultrawide camera.
Horrible, absolutely horrible and it's very unsettling to know innovation has died.

stop saying "dont judge a book by its cover" bs. even an ugly looking phone have better insides. also the stereo speakers are fake, they are just basically bass booster. no seperation at all.

Anonymous, 26 Oct 2022Poco X3 pro isn't sold in the US, but N300 isA52s wasn't sold in the US, but that never stopped me. Literally paid less than the BASE MODEL A52 with 128GB 6GB of ram which was 500 dollars and instead I imported a ~480 dollar A52s SPECCED OUT with 256GB 8GB of ram. And what did I lose? A couple of bands. My carrier doesn't support 5G with the bands I have on this phone, but It's still definitely manageable.

It has pretty good specs for a mid range device and is aimed for people who may not have the money to buy a flagship etc. As a flagship/High end mid range smartphone collector of myself I have every one phone from the Oneplus one to the 10 pro. Oneplus is a company aimed at enthusiast like me and people who want slick software and high end performance/cameras etc. The N series is aimed for people who just want a phone that will get the job done if they can't afford a higher end model. The dimenisty 810 is a pretty good high end mid range chipset as a I have a few phones in my collection that have it. Its definitely pretty speedy and powerful if you know how to use the phone correctly ofc. Such as clearing cache daily or every few days and editing a few things in delevoper settings such as animation scale/background process limits etc. That will give you the most out of the phone. Even a low end device can be a pretty speedy competitor if you know what to do to make it be like that. Only thing I dislike about the N300 is the display it's only 720p I personally only use phones with a 1440p panel as I like the best quality plus screen technology. The cameras are meh they could be better but it's a start. Duel speakers is nice to have on a mid range too as I personally also need duel/stereo speakers as a requirement on a phone that I will main. I currently main the Pixel 7 pro as I love stock Android and I've always maimed Google's pixels as they are just the best in my book when it comes to cameras, software, performance, speaker quality etc. Duel and stereo speakers are rare to find on low/mid rangers nowadays so this device having them is nice. But, quality may not be the best but as I know Oneplus is normally excellent when it comes to speaker quality. The Oneplus 10 pros speakers blown me away but don't think they are as good as my pixel 7 pros as it has more bass and well, I like phones that have good bass/clarity. The Oneplus N300 is decent I personally wouldn't use it but I'm sure others would. So, don't judge a book by its cover if you don't know how to properly use a phone or, never used it for yourself.

Compared to the N200, this is better in every aspect except the display. I kinda wish they went with a 720p OLED and just go with a smaller display overall.
Better processor, dual speakers, much better camera and they got rid of that useless macro lens, and the last thing is more just personal preference but I think this phone looks much better. I just wish they went with a 720p OLED maybe just keep 60hz to save on costs there.
Their Nord N20 has an 1080p OLED and that is very cheap already. Black Friday deals have it going for only $200 rn.
