OnePlus One's Marshmallow update in final testing

George, 07 April, 2016

The Marshmallow update for the OnePlus One is not only in the works, but is in its final testing stage. OnePlus co-founder took it to Twitter to share the good news.

Android 6.0 was promised to One users back in November last year, with a planned release date in Q1 2016, which obviously didn't happen. At this point it's still not entirely clear when the update will actually make it to the masses, as it's dependent on third parties, Carl Pei notes.

Meanwhile, a beta Marshmallow build can be downloaded for the OnePlus 2, for those who want to experiment.

i am able to download OTA 13.0ZNH0EAS226M Android m update

OnePlus One have Cyanogen, not Oxygen as OS. It wouldn't make any sense to announce a OS that's not native to the phone. So it's about Cyanogen.
