First impression... nice!
I paid for expedited delivery (~20 CAD). Bought on 18th late in day Pacific time, shipped on 19th. Received 20th early AM. So, super fast delivery.
Weighty to a good extent. Brilliant screen. Excellent sound. Feels good. Seems to work well. I had a little difficulty copying from my Samsung. The OP pad asks you to sign in during set-up but doesn't say sign into what, so that took a while. Ends up they want you to sign into their OP account.
I moved from a Lenovo P12 Pro and the screen is about the same height but shorter in length. Android apps seem to load and work as they are supposed to.
The magnetic keyboard will take a little getting used to as it is smaller than even my MS Surface Pro and a few functions have been combined on keys I am not used to. It gives the pad a nice tactile feel when closed up.
It is not the greatest camera. I don't care about the placement. Others have complained it is strange but I see middle of the top as logical. I don't like the image processing as much though. Contrast and sharpness seem boosted too high in auto HDR mode.
So, all-in-all, I am pleased with the purchase.

I am using past 1 month .
Display not that great because its over saturated and colour shifting ,shade ,tint issues are there so irritating to watch videos and moving contents . My eyes get stressed and get headache.
I am having mi pad 5 and ipad 9th gen and ipad pro 11 3rd gen these tablet and ipads are really good quality screen . Samsung also i used thats very best led screen its always no1.
So any buyers wants to buy oneplus pad please avoid it because of display not that great but remaining option are good in this pad.

I have been using this from past 2 months have to say performance is great. Dimensity 9000 is very capable and underrated SOC. This is my first device with this SOC have been using apple since last 4 years before that snapdragon. Just need a good software support hopefully google will be more serious on software part as google also launched their pixel tablet and foldables. Satisfied with my purchase. 🤘🏻

Mediatek 9000 is an excellent chip. It's better than snapdragon 8 gen 1 and around equal to 8+ gen 1 in terms of overall computing power. However, OnePlus is known to underclock the chips in their phones so expect that the 9000 inside this tablet to be a fair bit behind than the reference 9000, and thus also not reaching that 8+ gen 1 performance.
"And how much do you have to push the tablet to make it heat up as I play a lot of Bloons and the boss events tax any phone they even make my OnePlus 11 heat up heavily."
I don't really play Bloons but from what I've seen from the reviews of this, it should be able to run heavy games at 60fps with medium-high graphic settings. This being a tablet should give the chip more surface area to dissipate heat. But this may be offset by the fact that this tablet has a higher pixel density than most, if not all, midrange tablets. And pixel density means more graphical power needed to run it.
"Is the 12 gb version available anywhere in the us yet as anything over 300$ is a hard sell when it doesn't have more than 8 gigs. (Yes I know 8 is still plenty for Android but I would like to keep this tablet for a long time so the more ram the better.)"
Sorry but I don't live in the US so I cant answer this one.
"And finally how many years of os and sec updates is the tablet going to get?"
According to a review, this should get 3/4 years of OS/security updates respectively.

Decided I'll go for this as my tablet if the 8gb ver ever goes for 300$ (excluding the stylus I'll get) or less or I get some coupon code that gets i t close enough to that price.
I do have a few questions though.
I've only ever used snapdragon so how good is the chipset here? And what's the nearest snapdragon chipset equivalent so I can get a good reference for it's power.
And how much do you have to push the tablet to make it heat up as I play a lot of Bloons and the boss events tax any phone they even make my OnePlus 11 heat up heavily.

And finally how many years of os and sec updates is the tablet going to get?
Ps: I know phone specs and such just not to knowledgeable on non snapdragon chipsets.
And please don't suggest a different tablet. I'll find one on my own if needed but this is my first pick.

Better than iPad because you get all benefits of Android in iPad aspect ratio. The speakers are the best ever. Screen is really high quality with deep blacks and resolution is crisp and great for reading. Battery is average, but charges really fast. The build quality is really premium and very comfortable to hold with the rounded corners. Simply awesome to watch movies or reading books on this. Camera is bad, but good enough for video calls. OS is way better than MIUI

The tablet is 144 Hertz but I'm hearing from certain reviews that only works for certain apps ? I'm wondering if either they fixed the issue or at the very least know which apps it works on. For the most part this tablet's going to be used for Chrome, Twitter, and comic apps such as Marvel unlimited, DC universe, and comixology

I've only had good luck with snapdragon chipsets on all fronts.
But that's just my experience tbh.
