OnePlus Pad $500 + $100 for the stylus = $600 no charging bring in the box no Micro SD card slot.

Galaxy Tab S8 = $650 when it's not on sale. But I've seen the Tab S8 for like $550-600 when on sale. The Tab S8 also comes with the pen and has a Micro SD card slot and has USB 3.2 allowing for HDMI to USB-C connection.

I feel like you're better off going with the Samsung tablet for far more functionality. You can plug the Samsung tablet into a TV at a hotel when you're on vacation and use all your apps on the big screen. You have the Micro SD card slot so you can have tons of videos or files stored on the tablet for viewing on the go. It comes with the Pen so you can avoid the massive amounts of fingerprints on the screen during use.

Or you go with a much cheaper tablet that uses like a SD870 if you're just looking for a fast android tablet to use. Heck you can just get the iPad for like half the price of this.

I'm sure the Tab S9 that is coming out soon will be a far better tablet to purchase over this one. Samsung also offers pretty good pre order deals so you'll probably be able to get the keyboard for free.

      I'm a little saddened by the fact that the 12GB variant of the OnePlus Pad isn't available in the United States at launch.

        I liked the aspect ratio since I read. I was ok even with the price, w/e. but it has some sort of flickering at 60hz, notebookcheck say its not really a pwm in a traditionall sense, but it still flickers.....+ a police notice also some wierd stuff with the screen.

        so yeah... back to xiaomi pad 6, since I dont want anything apple.


          Hmmm, why not OLED? It would be great for watching movies with dark scenes.
          Also, does it support Widevine L1?

                    Is it with sim card slot or without sim card ?

                      Definitely a unique product from OnePlus to hopefully take some of Apple's iPad customers and introduce them to the wonders of Android and OnePlus.

                      I would say that for the price, getting an 11,6" IPS panel with a 144hz refresh rate is a nice bonus that directly competes with the likes of the iPad Pro 11" and 12,9" models (minus the Mini LED display configurations).

                        Do we know if this tablet can be connected to a monitor to use with a desktop mode environment similar to DEX?

                          Without cellular connectivity ?

                            Is there GPS in it? Support L1+L5?

                                  Accrosing to XDA developers this tablet will get 3 OS updates and 4 years of security updates.

                                      There are people who still like 8 inch tabs ...but other then mini 6 there is none worth even looking at... there are at least 50 10 plus inch tabs in the market
