Any computer or mobile system is designed in such a way that no application forces to use the employed processor and GPU beyond its capable limits. There are computer processors which can be over clocked but, it will lose its stability in due course of time which isn't noticed by many. When you try to force use the processor and GPU beyond its capable limits, heating issues might be encountered. It is always advisable to use any computing device on normal mode at all times. Coming to this device, I think the processor is good enough to play videos without the need for boost in performance of the CPU or GPU. Some games may require that and for this simple reason we shouldn't forget that this is not a gaming device. Some features are provided in every device just for the sake of it which doesn't imply that we have to use it. Good luck.

Almost every review I came across mentioned that they enjoyed the viewing experience on Prime Video and Netflix. I’m surprised how they enjoyed with video stutters and never mentioned this. Guess I just got to live with it. Turning high performance mode on seems to improve it though ..

Hardware acceleration is a burden on the GPU and CPU which is perceived by us through the visuals on the screen which can be termed as video acceleration, indirectly. Also for every frame the GPU has to accelerate the video by upscaling pixels as I said in my previous post. Whatever picture you see on this tablet is the combined output of the GPU and processor. This is a simple media consumption tablet. You can't force it to behave like a flagship device.

Whatever picture you see on the screen of this device will only be at the maximum supported display resolution of the employed processor Helio G99 and will not be at the display resolution of the display at any point of time though we can't notice the difference. The thing which the manufacturer wants us to count is its budget price and if we like it we may opt for it. But, the most important thing I count is it's lacking 3.5mm audio jack. I don't understand the meaning of Marketing Research teams of these organizations and I doubt if such teams even exist.

Doesn't Helio G99 only support display resolution upto "1080×2520" but this tab has "1704×2408"

It is either full HD or 4K, so it is more than enough for viewing content
