OnePlus says it had a blast touring Europe. Check out some behind the scenes footage

A few months back OnePlus decided to implement its "never settle" slogan quite literally and took to the road on a grand Euro tour. The growing start-up has always had a closer relationship and involvement with its fans than most, which really made the effort special.

While meet-ups are typically a regular thing for the OnePlus team, this time a fully-loaded promotional bus and a schedule spanning over two months really took it to the next level. If you are a fan of OnePlus and its signature blend of viral marketing and high product value appeal, then chances are you already followed the trip at least to some extent. If not, in typical social-savvy fashion, the Chinese manufacturer has put together this relatively short, but surprisingly nice and upbeat travel log, retelling the experience. You should definitely check it out if you have 20 or so spare minutes.

Frankly, we can't deny there is something quite appealing in such an extreme hands-on approach in 2016, when most major manufacturers are so utterly detached from the end user.It just comes natural with growth, which is probably why it is so refreshing to see a relatively small company take the extra effort to actually go out and showcase its product as best it can.

And since OnePlus operates on a purely online basis, this undertaking might have actually paid off for the OnePlus 3 and its overall popularity, since it did provide prospective buyers with a rare opportunity to actually see it and test it out before hopping on board. And with a new OnePlus 3T variant allegedly in the works, we can probably expect more similar stunts in the near future as well.
