OnePlus Turbo's battery size and charging speed tipped

OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6 this month, but it's also rumored to introduce a new Turbo lineup. We haven't heard about it from OnePlus yet; however, a rumor coming out of China tells us its battery capacity will be higher than the OnePlus 15 but less than the Ace 6.

In a post on Weibo, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has mentioned the battery capacities of three OnePlus smartphones: one packs a 7,300 mAh battery, another is fueled by a 7,650 mAh battery, and the third has a 7,800 mAh battery under the hood.

The phones with 7,300 mAh and 7,800 mAh batteries are rumored to be the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6, respectively, while the phone with a 7,650 mAh battery is said to be the OnePlus Turbo.

While these smartphones pack different batteries, their wired charging speeds are the same - 100W. DCS also stated that the three phones will feature 1.5K resolution screens having a 165Hz refresh rate - something OnePlus already confirmed for the OnePlus 15.

It's also worth noting that the OnePlus 15 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, and the Ace 6 is also expected to have the same chip at the helm. However, the OnePlus Turbo might come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 under the hood, as OnePlus previously announced that it will be the first brand to launch a smartphone with this chip.
