OnePlus wants you to name its TV

Following the announcement from OnePlus that it's developing a TV product incorporating premium flagship design, solid build quality and great user experience to more seamlessly connect the home - the company is turning to the OnePlus community to help with naming it.

Just don't call it TV McTVface!

Little is known currently on what form the OnePlus TV will take. While it would be natural to think that this will it be a fully-fledged smart TV, OnePlus would be limited by consumers TV replacement cycles. A more likely option, at least in the short term, that would result in far greater sales and market penetration would be a plug-in product, combining OnePlus software built upon Android or Android TV.

Since its inception OnePlus has actively involved the community in product feedback and naming its products - the OxygenOS name was born out of the community for example. Continuing this trend, OnePlus wants your recommendations for what its TV product should be called.

To kick off this journey, we ask for your help in giving our TV product something truly special: a NAME


The reward?

The OnePlus team will choose their favorite 10 suggestions. Each of the 10 finalists will receive a pair of OnePlus Bullets Wireless.

1 grand-prize winner will be chosen by the OnePlus team with the winner being announced before December 17th, 2018.

If a winning name is selected, the user who suggested the winning name will receive a round-trip (airfare and hotel) to be a guest of OnePlus during the OnePlus TV launch event. Additionally, if the OnePlus TV is available in the winner's country they will receive a OnePlus TV - otherwise, they'll receive the latest OnePlus smartphone.
