OnePlus Watch 3 to come with a rotating crown and ECG functionality
OnePlus is rumored to launch the OnePlus Watch 3 on January 7, which is when it will introduce the OnePlus 13 to the global markets and unveil the OnePlus 13R. There's no word from OnePlus about the Watch 3 yet, but a new rumor claims the smartwatch will feature a rotating crown.
The source also shared the OnePlus Watch 3's render based on a prototype, showing the rotating crown. Additionally, the source claimed that the OnePlus Watch 3 will have two color options and come with a heart rate sensor and ECG, with the latter being available in select markets.
Other rumored specs of the OnePlus Watch 3 include the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC, 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage. It's expected to run Watch OS 5 and RTOS and have a 500+ mAh battery under the hood. The Watch 3 could also come with LTE connectivity.
The OnePlus Watch 3 that got TENAA certified in June had a 500 mAh battery under the hood. It had model code OPWW234 and supported LTE connectivity. However, the design looked different from what the render shows us.
Earlier this month, a OnePlus Watch 3 with model designation OPWWE251 picked FCC certification, but that version packed a 648 mAh battery.

All Oneplus need to do is have health metrics that match or beat the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7. That's it really, the battery life alone will then beat them in terms of features.
