OnePlus X will cost $267 according to newly leaked promo image

The OnePlus X should be announced on October 29 as a smaller Android smartphone than the OnePlus 2. So far we've heard it might end up costing either $220 or $249, but now it appears that it could actually be a little more expensive.

What you see to the left is a purported leaked promotional image prepared by OnePlus for its next smartphone. As you can see, it shows us quite a bit of the device's front, but it also has a price attached: CNY 1,699.

At the current exchange rates, that means $267 or €242. Do note that this pricing is probably only going to be valid for China. Internationally the OnePlus X will surely be close to that amount, but it could be slightly different. We wouldn't be surprised to see the phone going for $249 to $299, and €249 to €299.

According to past leaks, the OnePlus X will feature a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP selfie snapper. The source of the leaked promo image also says the handset will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 SoC, and will have 3GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of storage.

In many other sites its saying that it is having Mediatek Helios processor. I am not sure on what basis you are saying that its snapdragon 801 SoC.

Unless you don't have hands, you will be needing that fingerprint.
