Only the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max to get vapor chamber

Back in January we heard that Apple would finally switch from heat sinks to vapor chambers for cooling in the entire upcoming iPhone 17 line, matching what Android device makers left and right have been doing for years now.
Today a new rumor out of China claims only the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will actually get vapor chambers after all. Vapor chambers better dissipate heat created by a phone's chipset, and using them means there's less throttling of the chipset going on.

The same source claims the A19 Pro SoC that Apple will use in its upcoming Pro models will come with better thermal management as well, and when you factor in the vapor chamber, sustained performance should be a breeze with no throttling necessary.

Nope, a vapor chamber is more expensive. Nope again all phones use screen as main heatsink. Chassis is poor at dissipating heat compared to the screen since most of it is not exposed to the outside. Youd know if you looked at the soc placement.

Graphene is more expensive than the copper vapor chambers.. and no all phones do not use the screen as their main cpu heatsink, only cheap low powered ones do that as they dont create a lot of heat. Te chassis is the main heatsink in nearly every fla...

And you must be even slower to think these companies are wasting money on vapor chamber tech instead of using the supposedly superior graphene. What are you going on about this 'original comment' now? It doesnt matter if the body is steel o...
