I bought this phone a month ago and i upgrade coloros 14 like a weeks ago ill say its pretty good for social media for students and light gaming downside is some of coloros 14 features are limited in this phone and other A series phones i bought this phone for upcoming fieldtrip and ill say the battery was AMAZING i woke up 3am in the morning and in 9pm at night the battery % was 38% THATS CRAZY ill say this phone is good for students like me if u want a budget phone this is all i have to say.

Tested this phone, the lag is very noticeable, especially for videos on 720p60 and above. Its a bit misleading considering that they advertised a lot from this phone as a very smooth experience for a budget price with its 1080p capabilities and its bragged as a 'gaming' phone. Scam.

For a budget phone, I expected less impressive results but never knew it would be way worse. Literally booting it up for the first time and the setup already has noticeable freezing and lag issues. After a week, even updating its UI and apps to the latest update, it still has its freezing issues. After a month, most apps either freeze for an average 2-5 mins or crash into a black/white screen. Take note that these freezing issues and crashes happened during at times where the phone was opening only ONE or TWO apps at the same time in the background and occasionally gets its daily restarts.
In terms of its camera quality, though most budget phones have at least minimum more than 10 megapixels while this phone has less than that, helped with it 'AI camera feature'.
In terms of its chipset, its rather quite outdated with its Helio G85.
Overall, i'd recommend this for LIGHT tasks and usage only. Anything else, just get a much more equipped budget or mid tier phone.

the vivo Y22 is a better buy than this.
apparently they sold at similar prices. but for whose are looking for decent cameras i suggest the Y22. although no 90hz. both have helio G85 though. only good in the A18 is the 90hz and 300% volume booster which can distort like a bass boosted fart machine. 8MP in this are basically worthless. good phone as a first phone for kids.

Oppo A18 model feature is so disgusting, when I select different font from theme, it not seen in dialer display, setting display, massage display..... I really dissatisfied from this device performance.... Sorry

Absolute waste of money and time
Pros: Interface is smooth and reliable
battery life is good, it is a physically cool phone
Minus:
Bad camera
Terrible performance for a phone with G85 (Vivo Y22 seems to struggle as well) Ride hailing apps such as Gojek Foodpanda Grab etc and e-shopping apps lag a lot and need refreshing, youtube crashes a lot

One of the most useless phone call that exists.
It it REALLY LLAG and heata up a lot. I rarely use it bevause I am busy at work and it still work like trash. It is also TOO EXPENSIVE for its fucking useless specs. Really mediocre. I hope whoever designed this dies really, including their family

I tried this 300% volume mode and to me it felt more like a gimmick. After pushing it to 300%, sound only got harsher which gives you a false impression that the phone got louder.

I got this phone recently and I must say it's a pretty Good phone for its price, its good for everyday use without any stutters and slowing down, there will be some in some instances, It is Good enough for Gaming and the camera could be better, but overall, pretty Solid

(unless you have free time on editing photos) A and Y series were notorious in such issue. not only the camera department sucks, they are horrible in price to performance/feature ratio.

this phone is shit,i bought it a month ago and it started restarting itself on that same day when idle. it has done this almost five times now. i leave the phone on the table or put it in my pocket and when i pick it up and try unlocking with fingerprint i find that its asking for SIM card pin number. very shitty phone ,i have never seen a phone do this before,i have never seen a phone restarting itself like this one all my life. it means when it restarts itself i become unreachable until i notice it has restarted and key in the pin number.
