Oppo A33 arrives with 90Hz screen and Snapdragon 460 for just $150
Last month the Oppo A53 went official in India, and today it was announced for Indonesia as well. Alongside it, the company introduced another new handset called Oppo A33.
The Oppo A53 and Oppo A33 share a lot of similarities - a Snapdragon 460 chipset as well as a 6.5” LCD with 90Hz refresh rate and basic 720p resolution. The difference comes in two key directions - the memory combination and the camera department.
The Oppo A33 has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable up to 256GB through the micro SD card slot). At the same time, the A53 will be sold on the Indonesian market in a single 6/128 GB combination. The selfie camera of the A33 is 8MP with an f/2.0 aperture, compared to the 16MP shooter of the A53.
The triple setup on the back is shared betewen the two - 13MP + 2MP depth sensor + 2MP macro shooter. Both phones have 5,000 mAh batteries and ship with ColorOS 7.2 and Android 10 out of the box.
The Oppo A33 will be available in Mint Green or Midnight Black between September 29 and October 1 for the price of IDR2,2 million, which translates to $155/€132.

The graphics core(s) most work harder for 90fps at 90hz so not quite true that it has nothing to do with the screen... :p
