Oppo A3 leaks with a notch and an affordable price tag
Oppo quietly unveiled the A1 in China last month and now a slightly more powerful Oppo A3 is in line for a launch. The China Telecom website spilled the beans and we got to see the first images of the device. It will have a notched display but no fingerprint scanner, leaving Face Unlock as your only biometric security option.

The phone has a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset that is built on the 12nm FinFET process by TSMC. It is coupled with 4 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, although Oppo added a microSD slot for up to 256 GB more.
The 6.2” screen comes with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels which is close to Full HD+ but has some extra pixels on top due to the notch. It houses a selfie camera with 8 MP sensor and AI capabilities. The main snapper is 16 MP.
Arriving with Color OS, based on Android Oreo 8.1, the phone will be offered in Blue, Black, Silver, Red, and Gold. The price tag is CNY1,999 or just $320/€260.
