i used to have oppo a7 for 5 years and now im changing it to oppo a57 after making a decision to compare it with redmi note 12 (i havent used this and cant give any opinion about this one since some of my friends are giving redmi note 12 as their recoomendation due to the range of price between these two). i would say the only thing that seems better than my a7 is the os itself and because it's just.. new? the camera of a7 is way way way better than a57, the a57 could make it better in pro camera options but it would take much effort to compare with the a7.

      With the price of $163, that means 2.4 million in my currencies, i would say oppo really overpriced this thing. Just think of it, 2.4 million you get : g35, android 12, 4/64, 13mp, 60hz. Even poco m5 has the same price but with better specs, the only thing that good about this phone is : dual speaker stereo, fast fingerprints (at least that's what i think).

          This phone is horrible with Youtube on 1080p60. The frames drop on the video when played. And I have to watch with just 720p. It's stupid.

            I think OPPO is under pressure to impress across all markets. They develop camera and fall short on Ram, develop processor and fall short on other features,

            They can't get a good combination on low end, midrange and flagship. Prices are too high with nothing to outshine competitors.

                    you have to suffer, 07 Nov 2022good in day time shots. but in night time? so much noise.Camera is ok is good lighting but lacks an ultrawide and decent zoom and also gets completed minced in challenging lighting. Also doesn't have 4k which only needs a 12MP sensor to do but this thing can't even with its 13MP sensor. In my experience, 1080p video runs fine, but 4k video lags and it does still occasionally lag after I turned on high performance mode. One thing budget phones are always good with is battery life and this thing's battery life is great. 6 and half hours of screen on time with about 23% left which leads me to believe that if I let it run dry it could go to 7, which is not bad even if it might fall short to the flagships of 2022 and 2023, but I only just got this phone, which means the battery capacity most likely has dropped a bit. For me the speakers sound good and it is quite balanced between the top speaker and bottom speaker. I have daily drove an iPhone 6 Plus before and it has a 720p screen, which I don't mind since I'm used to it. Fingerprint sensor on the power button is very fast and I like it. I don't use face recognition all that much so I can't give my opinion on that. Final summary: Not as good value as the Pocos and Redmis of the world, but it's an ok option if you want a phone but on a very tight budget

                          13 mp camera is not good enough on an 8gb Ram phone released in 2022. Oppo should have done better.

                            it's so bad when u play game with it and it even get's choppy trying to run 1080p videos,
                            mine is original and i have to mention this because i saw some comments trying to brush off it's problem by saying its not.

                            Currently trying to contact customer service online since when i tried sending it to shop they just brush it off with "it is what it is", as in, a bad module. i just thought it's odd that it can't even handle a 1080p video since it's newer and more expensive than the Oppo f11 pro i had before which can handle games and 1080p videos well.

                              I'm using an appo57 vers 12. Since 2 week It's totally fucker customer. Bty power ok but Priccesing quite slow. It's Can't performance what you wish.. I don't like it I mean going to throw in dustbin soon. And recommend those who are working hard and looking good mobile me please don't buy it . Companies and staff will fuck you In your back

And my experience was like t... morethat is not true OPPO A57 is amazing the phone you probably got was a fake, really you shouldn't talk bad about something, and if your'e thinking I'm a fake account I'm not I bought the phone myself but I can agree that the camera doesn't have much options but still that was rude the company tried it's best, why don't you switch to an iPhone then and not wasting your money on an OPPO you should apologize directly to the company that is unacceptable imagine someone was talking about your product like that

                                      I baught a A 57 few days back. And my experience was like totally disappointing! And waste of money!. 😓 its an absolute garbage compare to all other phones in this price segment
                                      Both cameras are worst in any light condition, and slow proccessing speed. Am scared what wil happen after few months.?
                                      Highly recommend not to buy this shit...

                                        Hello, I used an oppo before, no notification led, nothing to indicate the battery is pulley charged. I like to know if A57 is the same old.
