Oppo A60 is now official with Snapdragon 680 SoC, 50 MP main camera
The Oppo A60 surfaced in the Google Play Console earlier this month, and today it quietly went official in Vietnam. Undoubtedly, it will be launched in more markets in the coming weeks.
Despite what its name implies, it can't be considered a succesor to the A59 from December 2023, since that model has 5G support, while the A60 doesn't. Thus, think of it like the successor to the A58 4G from July 2023.
The A60 comes with a 6.67-inch 720x1604 90 Hz LCD touchscreen with 950-nit peak brightness and 240 Hz sampling rate, the Snapdragon 680 SoC at the helm, 8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP decorative camera alongside it, an 8 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC wired charging.
It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14.0.1 on top. It measures 165.71 x 76.02 x 7.68 mm and weighs 186g. In Vietnam it's priced at VND 5,490,000 for the version with 128GB of storage (approximately $216 or €202), and VND 6,490,000 if you want 256GB ($256, €238). Pricing may of course vary when it lands in other countries.

OPPO Salespeople are basically snake oil sellers. they claim the product is better than any other product (at least in the price range), only for it to turn out to be a disposable piece of garbage, with a 2.5 year old CPU that uses a decade old arc...
