I am thoroughly impressed by this phone. For the price is offers everything I need plus more. While it comes with superfast charging, the battery lasts for so long it really isn't necessary. I think at this price point (under $300 AUS) the camera is more than adequate. I was pleasantly shocked at just how crisp daytime shots were, and even in low light images are ok, just a little overexposed. Color OS is easy to navigate and customisable. The screen resolution at 720p may discourage serious gamers, but for anyone else its a non-issue. And the 90hz refresh rate is very easy on the eye.

Here's what I'll tell you, go get that phone and ignore the shitty reviews here, yes the front camera gets a little weird at first, but just remove the HDR settings from Auto to On and you'll be good to go, this device aside frm that little camera issue, is miles better than most Android phones out there, the interface is top notch, Color's perfect, battery's sustainance/recharging is legendary, system processing? Smooth as silk!, Sound? Superb!. I saw someone said it gets blurry when they're reading stuff, that's utter bogus!, I downloaded a couple PDFs and EPUBs and my experience with that was 100 percent OKAY!...my overall rating on it is 9/10

The pros - performance is ok
- Sound quality is fantastic - through speakers & headphone jack
- Battery life is v.good
- Charging speed is decent
- Reception quality is good
- Good screen brightness
The negatives:
- Camera/Video quality isn't great
- The screen text isn't clear. It's slightly blurry which causes eye strain when reading text/news/articles. Not sure if this is due to the 720p but yes, it's quite bad.
- The screen touch response is sluggish. Only 90hz touch sample.
You can get a lot of better phones for this price range - but if sound and battery life is important - then this is a decent phone. But if you're planning on using your phone to read articles and books - it's not so great due to the blurriness.

I'm interested in buying this phone, here where I live it retails for a good price 6/128GB model. But I'm interested in getting some feedback about the camera performance. I snap mostly in daylight, but do you think the camera is decent enough for basic low-light photos as well?
And how about the front camera?

Oppo must be out of their minds. 720p display in 2022?
As mentioned earlier by someone, it really does only have a 90hz touch response. This is pathetic for 2022

Only the 4GB model is available where I am.
On the website it says the touch sampling rate is 90hz, along with a fresh rate of 90hz.
I thought this was an error, but have just spoken to oppo, and they've confirmed the touch sampling rate is 90hz???
This is very low for 2022. I can imagine the screen feeling slightly sluggish, especially considering their previous A series devices (A74 5g, A96 etc) all have a touch sampling rate of 180hz
