I didn't like the photos that my new a91 provides so one day in January took both to a park in daylight and used both mobiles, first auto settings, then tweaked settings, the same spot, the same object, all 4 photos done several minutes apart so very similar light. 2 for each mobile - auto and tweaked, for 2 mobiles. It looked silly. Then I went back to the same park later near dusk and did the same 4 photos plus some of windows and artificial lights in shops to avoid moving cars (I can't catch the same moving car 4 times). And then I went home and compared my photos, on my computer and printed. In such trial photos from my old note 4 were better. I admit I didn't try night photos, mostly to stay safe. Parks aren't very safe late in the evening.
Could you ask the person you mentioned how to improve the situation? Did they use the oppo app or any camera app from google play? Any advice they could share? I'd be grateful.

Can it work with 128 or 256 GB memory cards? The salesperson suggested up to 64 GB but didn't explain why. Cards larger than 256 are rather expensive in my country right now, could be cheaper around summer.

My photographer mate took far better quality with my A91 than i ever will cos he knows how to utilise the settings and the lighting in the environment.

Photos are average at best and there's this app that can't be removed for themes which doesn't work in several regions including Europe (or certain countries in Europe) so it's kinda silly to keep it. Also my mobile decided not to let me have an alternative keyboard. I got it from google, there is no error message so it should work but it doesn't. I force my mobile to use that keyboard in settings yet I can't use it. No idea what went wrong, I wrote a comment for that keyboard in store. There are several silly problems which I'd like to solve only even the official tech support by oppo tells me nothing can be done. I think this is my last oppo no matter the price. Price and specs were nice but real life go in their way.

The bigger numbers, higher, wider etc.. are not always better. And that's the fact , because I experienced it in different kind of devices. Nothing is perfect, but It's always better to choose the ones which is good in overall.

Still waiting for coloros 7 / Android 10.
Hope, after updating to coloros 7, Apps like Youtube, YT Music, google calendar and so on,
will be deletable or at minimun deactivatabel. Under COS 6 you cannot delet or deactivate those apps! Hope also micros SD Card could be encrypted in future!
Otherwise i'll sell my A91

May I know when will ColorOS... moreLooking at Oppo introducing so many new models this year and its past history of neglecting updates for its budget/midrange models, it is doubtful the A91 will ever get ColorOS 7. Even if it gets ColorOS 7, very likely no ColorOS 8 planned for the A91.
