Oppo Ace2 now available for purchase
The Oppo Ace2 unveiled last week is now available for purchase in China through the company's official site and offline stores.
The Ace2 comes in three memory configurations - 8GB/128GB priced at CNY3,999 ($565/€520), 8GB/256GB priced at CNY4,399 ($620/€570), and 12GB/256GB that costs CNY4,599 ($650/€600). You can pick one in Aurora Silver, Moon Rock Grey or Fantasy Purple colors, but the company's online store currently doesn't sell the Silver variant.
The Oppo Ace2 is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC and boots to Android 10-based ColorOS 7.1. It sports a 6.55" 90Hz AMOLED display of FullHD+ resolution, that has a fingerprint reader underneath and a punch hole in the upper-left corner for the 16MP selfie camera.
On the back, you get a 48MP main camera joined by one 8MP ultrawide and two 2MP depth sensor modules.
The Ace2 supports 5G connectivity and packs a 4,000 mAh battery that charges at up to 65W through a USB-C port. You can also charge the smartphone wirelessly at 40W using the company's AirVOOC wireless charger, which is sold separately for CNY249 ($35/€32).
Besides, you can use the Ace2 to charge other devices wirelessly at up 10W since it supports reverse wireless charging.
