Oppo F7 Youth goes on sale in the Philippines

The Oppo F7 Youth is about to get its launch Philippines on May 28.

The F7 Youth is a watered down version of the Oppo F7 with a lower-spec set of cameras - 13MP/8MP compared to the 16MP/25MP of the F7, without a fingerprint scanner and a different notchless screen.

This makes the Oppo F7 Youth virtually identical to the Oppo Realme1 - the same Helio P60 chipset, the same 3,410mAh battery, the same 6.0-inch 18:9 2160x1080px display. It also features the same Diamond Black design on its back.

The Oppo F7 Youth will go on pre-order on May 28 in Diamond Black and Solar Red for the price of PHP 13,990 or around €230. Oppo will bundle a free Olike Bluetooth speaker with each Oppo F7 Youth.

If this is the same as realme 1 then the price is not close to xiaomi's pricing. They will bleed if they compete with xiaomi's pricing here.

Why do they have to remove the fingerprint scanner though? Everytime Oppo almost nails it, it will miss at just one, but very important aspect, which is a huge deal breaker to most. They didn't do it last year with the F5, which only had less imp...
