            Unfortunately, there's an awful downgrade in all five cameras of Find N5 compared to N3.
            The 2023 Oppo Find N3/OnePlus Open had great cameras in foldable phones segment, but now, Find N5 camera department looks like a $500 smartphone.
            Find N3 vs Find N5:
            1/1.43" 48MP LYT-T808 > 1/1.56" 50MP LYT-700
            1/2.0" 48MP IMX581 > 1/4.0" 8MP IMX355
            1/2.0" 64MP OV64B > 1/2.75" 50MP Samsung JN5
            1/3.14" 32MP OV32C > 8MP ?!
            1/4" 20MP > 8MP ?!

            Recently, Chinese smartphone companies don't upgrade their smartphones perfectly, two jump ahead and one jump backward!

            Great progress in Screen, Chassis, Battery & SoC
            but a Disaster Downgrade in Camera!
            sacrificing camera quality for thinness is a disastrous and unacceptable design choice.

              you have to suffer, 23 Feb 2025oppo sees east and south asia as "global version" 🤷‍♂️They cant even release oppo fx8 pro in the philippines
              So not all southeast asia gets good treatment.
              Almost all of oppo phones here are just low end.

              Never seen a flagship oppo phone here, so i highly doubt it'll even release the find n5 here

                          So, this global N5 launch is so global that it won't affect Europe and other "unimportant" continents. What's global about it then? And who cares about the spectacular features of this product? Why even announce anything about these models that we won't be able to see?

                          They deliberately organize "global events" to mark the release of "global editions", which they then later say aren't really global. They should have said that up front, so I wouldn't waste my time paying attention to products they clearly don't want to sell me. That's the business strategy based on market research: instead of the N5, they'll introduce the Reno 13 series in Europe.

                          Where will the N5 be officially released besides China and Singapore? I'm really curious to see how "global" it really is. Oh, and the purple model is for China only. I guess they'll only give it to Xi Jinping's wife.

                              Waiting for the next One Plus foldable. I think One Plus made a big mistake by not releasing an updated version of the One Plus Open. The Oppo Find N5 is nice however limited to the Asian markets.
