USA user long term review. I've had the phone since November 2023.

The Oppo Fine x6 pro is my daily phone.

This is a great phone and everything in the gsm review is accurate.

This phone will only work on a GSM network. T-mobile or carriers that use same network works great.

Color OS does not like Google voice/assistant. It will kill it and disassociate it from the system default even after you assign it repeatedly.

I used ADB command line to disable some things, mostly bloat/system garbage.

Most gaming is easily handled. Genshin Impact on full graphics does run hot. No hiccups though when playing.


I really hope they make a global version of the Find X series. I would only gray import the phone if you're comfortable using ADB shell to do some housekeeping and you'll need to side load Google services/play store. There's quite a bit of bloat pre-installed, which is ashame.

The cameras are top notch and it handles like a breeze. Super good screen. I got a really good price on the phone during singles day sale. It was too good to pass up.

Will I buy Oppo again in the future? If they have a global rom, for sure. If not, I'd still get one as long as the price is right. It is a pain getting it setup initially and every now and then you long press something and a Chinese menu pops up. All in all it's one of the best flagship phones you can get.

                If you make a comparison it's pretty close.

                The X7 has a brighter display and a faster processor, the X6 Pro has better cameras, wireless charging, more pixels on the display too.

                            It does sometimes, it kills it alot and you'll need to reset it as the default sometimes. Hey Google does not work as of Android 13.

                            Yes, no problems there
                            is the phone wideline level 1 ?
                            Yes
                            does the phone have google pay (google wallet nfc) working ?
                            Yes again no problems
                            does it have google timeline maps ?
                            Yes
                            is nearby share working ?
                            I haven't fully tested this, but no connection problems
                            android auto works ?
                            No, it does not as of Android 13
                            notifications works ?
                            Most of the time, the OS is pretty aggressive in killing stuff

                            Overall it's a great phone. Pictures it takes are very impressive. You'll spend sometime customizing apps. It has a tendency to try and set system apps back, which is a little annoying. I would recommend debloating the phone off the bat. I had a issue messaging iPhone users, which if you're using WhatsApp won't be a problem, but any other message apps you will. You'll have to enable dev options and then enable disable permissions monitoring. It's a weird bug.

                            The phone does get hot when playing Geshin Impact on hi res mode. Not too hot to hold, but toasty. No lag whatsoever. Charging is super fast. It can handle pretty much anything you throw at it.

                              This phone can be use like a normal global phone (with some Chinese bloatware) bc the notification isn't delay or not even have notification like some other Chinese phone with Chinese software, also have Widevine L1 and pass Google certificated

                                I really need gogole maps timeline history (after installing google services). I know, it's really difficult to have it while having a chinese rom. So, do you have any tips in order to install it ?
