Oppo Find X6's 1-inch type IMX989 sensor will have 4K HDR night video

Digital Chat Station is at it again on Weibo with fresh details about the Oppo Find X6 series. Per his information, the MariSilicon X image processing chip on the Oppo Find X6 series will support 4K HDR night scene video shooting when paired with the 1-inch type IMX989 main camera. The capture will happen on-chip but other than that, there aren't any further details.

He goes on to reiterate that the Find X6 series will feature three 50MP flagship-level cameras. The IMX989 1-inch type sensor is one of those. The Find X6 Pro will likely also have a 50MP telephoto and 50MP ultrawide, while the Find X6 may swap the 50MP ultrawide for a 32MP one.

The Find X6 series will debut in China in early 2023. It will likely sport a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and a QHD+ display of 120Hz refresh rate. The sizes should be similar or identical to the Find X5's 6.55-inch and X5 Pro's 6.7-inch.

Man yes even old Samsung or Nokia phone came with a camera like that. Even Motorola Z series with Motomods. But that Samsung and Nokia that cool camera was a part of the phone. This going to be a separate modul just like Motorola with Motomods....
