Oppo made the right call but it kind of makes the market more stale with each phone blending over the other, the dual telephoto added some nice variation which the market misses now.

I just checked the images about phone which oppo has released, for china of course, and it seems the 1tb-16gb version supports eSIM too. That would be awesome! 👍

Mobilemaster, 16 Oct 2025It is good news it has such a massive battery, and a new 20... moreExactly. that wide camera can go upt 2-2.5 x easily without loosing the quality. 4 X for periscope is better so up to 10 x can be zoomed without significant quality. And with 200 MP, even up to 15 x, pics are pretty useable at least in day light.

It is good news it has such a massive battery, and a new 200 MP telephoto camera. What I don't understand, why only 3x zoom? I am pretty sure that sensor can do like 4x or even more.

Only 3x Zoom is so bad. Otherwise this would have been a great phone.

the oppo find x9 and x9 pro and the vivo x300 &
x300 pro will still be worth buying in 3 to 5 years
from now not because of their an droid up dates
but for their specs like camera ip ratings battery
!

This is a near-facsimile of the Vivo X300 Pro with hardware difference from the screen, the rear camera island, and the telephoto camera. Talk about siblings rivalry.
Also, I still maintain that removing the previous native 6x zoom long telephoto camera is not a good idea. Even with a huge 200MP sensor, you can only go so far with digital hybrid zooming.

Oppo when launching Find X9 series also mentions that more advanced Find X9 Ultra and X9s will arrive Quarter 2 2026. So if you sure want a top tier camera phone but were hesitating, then better wait till then meanwhile also for Vivo X300 Ultra! Because unnecessarily decide too early would give buyer's remorse!

Oppo, as well as Sony, has never been interested in 8K video recording. If you somewhat want 8K within BBK brands, Realme, Vivo, and OnePlus are your options. Other brands, such as Samsung, Xiaomi, and ZTE, to name a few, also offer an 8K option.
