Micro SD card slot makes it easier to expand your storage and transfer files like photos or videos directly to your laptop, they also served as storage devices that can be easily swapped.
They are somewhat slow, but they had a real purpose. Newer flagships advertise their cameras like anything, but professional cameras come with sd card support 😐.
UFS cards were supposed to replace micro SD card slots at the high end. But apple institutionalized morons are defending the 'unovation' and exclusion of useful features like micro SD card slots, 3.5 mm headphone jack, IR sensors (not blaster) etc. It's simple enough to provide these options.
But if they include micro sd card slots, some people would just buy the base model and never go for higher storage options.
3.5 mm headphone jack would mean people won't buy wireless headphones when their battery becomes obsolete.
Basically, people brought this upon themselves by not speaking with their wallets AND influencers and youtubers who never talk about these stuff.

Idk but the name kinds of giving a different vibe cuz it should be like a lite or s version like the flagships and midranges like for example tecno camon, like tecno camon 30s why don't they like use such names, or maybe it could be idk, that's my opinion
