Oppo K9s incoming with big screen and battery, 120 Hz refresh rate

Oppo's K9 and K9 Pro are about to welcome a new member of the series dubbed K9s. Images and specs of the phone leaked all over Weibo, and it appeared on JD.com's website as well.

The phone has a similar design to the K9 Pro and identical cameras, but less impressive chipset and a screen of the LCD rather than AMOLED variety.

The Oppo K9s is built around a 6.59” LCD with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refrsh rate. The fingerprint scanner is on the side, doubling as a power key.

Around the back the K9s has a 64MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP auxilary sensor. The selfie camera has a 16MP senosr.

The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 778G chipset, and rumors suggest the chip will be coupled with either 6GB or 8 GB RAM. There is a 5,000mAh battery inside, which supports 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging.

Pricing is yet to be revealed, but we do know the Oppo K9s will be offered in Black, Pink Gradient, or Grey colors.

Too bad there isn't a periscope zoomlens included. Oppo tends to make the screen too small instead of a bit wider and less long. Also they should quit putting curved edges. Battery life seems promising which is a big plus for me.
