Oppo launches Reno10 series, the Pro variants bring 100W charging
Oppo introduced today its latest Reno lineup in China. The Reno 10 series includes three phones - vanilla Reno10, Reno10 Pro, and Reno10 Pro+.
Oppo Reno10 Pro+
The Oppo Reno10 Pro+ is an upper midrange smartphone with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and 16GB of RAM, and the MariSilicon X NPU. It comes with a 10-bit OLED panel of 6.74” diagonal and a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. The resolution is 2772 x 1240 pixels
Around the back of the Oppo Reno10 Pro+ is a capable 50 MP main shooter alongside a 64 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The third camera is an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle cam. A 32 MP selfie camera is mounted inside the punch hole.
Oppo Reno10 Pro+ comes with a 4,700 mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging.
The Oppo Reno10 Pro+ is going on sale on June 1 in three color options - Black, Gold, and unique Purple. Prices begin from CNY4,299 - that’s $610 or €565.
Oppo Reno10 Pro
The Pro smartphone does look similar with the oval camera island and the big bright screen, but it comes with a Dimensity 8200 chipset by Mediatek while retaining the MariSilicon X NPU.
The 6.74” OLED screen matches the Pro+ with its 120 Hz refresh rate and 2772 x 1240 px resolution. There is a single punch hole for the 32 MP selfie camera.
Around the back, the Reno10 Pro has a 50 MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. The telephoto is downgraded to 32MP resolution and 2x zoom, while the 8 MP ultrawide-angle shooter is retained.
The battery capacity is 4,600 mAh, but it still charges at 100W. The required adapter will be provided in the retail box of all three Reno10 phones.
Oppo Reno10 Pro comes with 16 GB RAM and two storage choices - 256 GB or 512 GB. It starts at CNY2,899 ($410/€380) and is available in Blue, Black, or Gold from June 1.
Oppo Reno10
Oppo Reno10 comes with a 6.7” AMOLED with curved edges, 1080p resolution, and up to 120 Hz refresh rate.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 778G and has three memory options - 8/128 GB, 12/256 GB, and 12/512 GB, the last bringing LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
There is a 64 MP main shooter with an f/1.7 aperture, and 6P lens on the back. The 32 MP 2x telephoto and 8 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras are shared with the Reno10 Pro, as is the 32 MP selfie camera with AF and f/2.4 aperture.
The battery capacity is 4,600 mAh, and charging is done at up to 80W. That would still only take 11 minutes to get from 0 to 50% and 29 minutes for a complete charge.
Oppo Reno10 series runs the latest ColorOS 13.1, which brings improved QR code scanning and smarter and quicker location for select apps. There is also a graphite cooling system that also has a vapor chamber for heat dissipation, and the whole set amounts to a 6,000 sq.mm large area to cool the phone.
Oppo offers the Reno10 in three lovely colors - Blue, Black, and Gold. Prices begin from CNY2,499, which is about $355/€330. The phone can be pre-ordered from the company website, and the first sale is scheduled for June 1.
There is a big unknown whether any of the phones will grace international markets as the world is still waiting for the previous series, Reno9, to leave China. Hopefully, Oppo will skip a generation and will bring these lovely smartphones instead.

Finally, Oppo made a new generation Reno with a proper camera hardware. Every model got telephoto camera, and that is definitely welcome.

If you can compromise on the ultrawide shots coming from that tiny 8 MP sensor, then maybe, especially if you put high-range zoom shots over anything. It being unignorably cheaper than both members of the Find X6 series is a plus.

Great that they have included proper Telephoto lens on all the models rather than those useless macro and depth sensors
