Oppo N3 new teaser released, hints for smart camera rotation

15 October, 2014

Oppo is going to make the Oppo N3 cameraphone official on October 29, but the company has been teasing it via the social networks for quite a while. We are already familiar with its build options - stainless steel or aluminum-lithium alloy.

Lots of previous rumors and leaks also shed some light on the Oppo N3 specs - a 5.9" 1080p display, Snapdragon 805 chipset with 3GB of RAM, plus a 16MP rotation camera with the ample 1/2.3" size.

Today Oppo has released another batch of teasers including a video. They all reveal another interesting aspect of the Oppo N3 - the camera module will actually have tiny motors and will be capable of automatic rotation rather than having to twist it yourself as on the N1.

Here is the video:

And this is the new teaser picture.

Oppo N3 will go official in Singapore on October 29. We'll be there to cover the event for you as it unfolds.

Hoping it can be manually rotated without breaking the servos otherwise that would totally suck when your friend wants to check out your new N3 only to manually twist the camera before you can tell them not to.
