Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme phones gain Phone Link support

The Oppo Developers Conference took place in the past few days, and one of the final announcements was the support of Phone Link and Link to Windows.

The feature was previously available only to select Samsung and Honor devices, as well as the Surface Duo. Microsoft confirmed some devices from the OnePlus, Oppo Find, Oppo Reno, and Realme series will join them.

Phone Link is an app that can be downloaded from Google Play store. It allows smartphone users to link their devices, view and reply to messages, receive notifications, navigate some apps, drag and drop files between PC and smartphone.

There is also a corresponding app Link to Windows, which must be installed on the Windows 10/11 computer, and from then on, connecting both devices is relatively easy and straightforward.

It is important to mention that only devices on ColorOS 14 will be able to connect. They will be joined by OxygenOS 14 and Realme UI 5.0 phones once the totally independent brands OnePlus and Realme launch their flagships.
